2 days and 1 nite Trek to Crater Rim (Plawangan 1 – 2,640m) via Senaru Village Package
Day 1
Pick-up at 5:00 a.m. from Sengigi to Senaru Village, journey takes 2 hours. Light breakfast will be served and then proceed to National Park office to register before start trekking to POS 2 (Montong Satas – 1,500m). Lunch will be served here.
After lunch, continue to trek up to POS 3 (Mondokan Lolak – 2,000m) which will takes approximately 2 hours climb and then another 2 hours climb to reach Plawangan Senaru (2,640m) to overnite. On a clear sky in the evening from the crater rim you can see Segara Anak Lake, Mt. Rinjani and shooting stars.
Day 2
Start your day with beautiful sight of sunrise at the crater rim, after breakfast start to descend to POS 3 and POS 2 for lunch break. During the trek, can see some flora and fauna or might catch a rare glimpse of black ebony leaf monkey, the local people call it ‘lutung’, macaque, deers, birds and etc. After 7 hours trek, reach Rinjani National Park Office to board your transport back to Sengigi.
This package – meals, mineral water, tent, sleeping bags, guide, porter, entrance fees will be provided.
